An Access to Higher Education (HE) Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification, equivalent to three A-levels, designed for adults (19+) who want to return to education and pursue a university degree but lack traditional qualifications.

 

It's a Level 3 qualification, similar to A-levels, and is widely accepted by UK universities.

Successful completion of an Access to HE Diploma earns UCAS tariff points, comparable to those earned with three A-levels.
